Adam began his real estate career when he bumped into a colleague from the interior design world at his CrossFit gym. This colleague had moved from working as an upholsterer to becoming a Realtor for Works and could not speak more highly of the company. Having worked with Adam in the past while he managed a trade-only interior design showroom, they encouraged him to look into real estate. With a background in a variety of disciplines, Adam attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, graduating with honors and a BFA in Theatre in 2004. During his time at NYU, he discovered Bikram yoga and, as a former varsity cross-country runner, was inspired to attend a 500+-hour certification. After training, Adam taught yoga full time while also started his way in an off Broadway career. As his time became more committed to teaching, Adam opened his own yoga studio in 2008. Going through the logistics of opening a small business in NYC, it reminded him of how much he loved to problem solve while also allowing for creativity in his design of a 3000-square-foot commercial space. During his time spent in this holistic career, Adam wanted to incorporate physical growth with spatial healing and completed his fêng shui consultant certification at the Feng Shui Institute of America, based on the principles of the Pyramid School of Feng Shui. Desiring an environmental change from high-rises to rolling hills, Adam sold his yoga studio and moved to the West Coast in the spring of 2016. Upon his arrival, his experience in art, space planning, and customer service motivated him to enroll in the Heritage School of Interior Design in Portland, Oregon, to earn an interior design certificate. Adam also took a position at Nest’s “to-the-trade showroom” in charge of fabric and wallpaper sales, later becoming the manager for the showroom. As a Realtor, Adam desires to assist his clients in finding the perfect space for them: a home that inspires its inhabitants, nurtures their lifestyles, and acts as a respite from the hustle and bustle of the world around them. Still an artist and holistic healer at his core, Adam looks forward to working collaboratively with his clients to find the perfect house for them!
